Topic: COVID-19 Pandemic Technology Considerations

Presenter: Brandon Damas, PE, HFDP, HBDP, BEMP, BEAP, LEED AP BD+C

Presenter Bio: 

Brandon Damas is a Senior Account Manager for HTS.  In his current role, he provides engineers and owners in the DFW area with unique design and construction solutions for projects in all commercial and industrial markets. Prior to joining HTS in 2011, Brandon worked for a national, MEP consulting firm in Dallas, Texas for four years.

Brandon is an ASHRAE member and serves on many technical committees for the organization. He previously served the Dallas Chapter as President, CTTC Chair, at large member, secretary, membership promotion chair, research promotion chair, and treasurer. Brandon is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, is ASHRAE certified with 4 different certifications (Healthcare Facility Design Professional, High-performance Building Design Professional, Building Energy Modeling Professional, and Building Energy Assessment Professional) , and is a LEED accredited professional with an emphasis in building design and construction. He was a recipient of the 2014 40 under 40 award by the consulting-specifying engineer magazine. Brandon also is a voting member of ASHRAE 90.1 project committee, a voting member of ASHRAE 90.1 mechanical subcommittee, a provisional corresponding member for T.C. 9.06 (healthcare facilities), and webmaster for T.C. 5.05 (air-to-air energy recovery). He has a degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University.
