Please join us for our monthly meeting of the membership. Each meeting begins with a short networking period, followed by introductions and chapter announcements.

This month's topics:

  • Main Presentation: Air Cooled and Water Cooled Equipment
    • Check-in Begins: 11:00 AM
    • Session: 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
    • Presentation Description: This presentation will be over a comparison between air cooled and water cooled equipment. Prior to increases in efficiency for air cooled chillers, water cooled chillers were the best option for an efficient central plant. Additionally, increases in code minimum efficiencies for equipment, water cooled was almost a necessity just to meet code. Now, air cooled chillers are more efficient and are a viable alternative to water cooled equipment. We will analyze common components and efficiencies of equipment used in both plant designs and evaluate life cycle costs to show how sometimes air cooled chillers can make sense depending on project requirements.
